* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northwestern Arvada, Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Eldorado
Springs and Niwot.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country

* At 234 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream
flooding in the advisory area. 0.83 inch of rain has fallen at the
ALERT rain gage at Sunshine in the Fourmile burn area in the past
half hour.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gold Hill, Sunshine, Summerville, Wallstreet, Salina and Crisman.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks, gulches,
roads and roadside culverts in the Fourmile burn area. This includes
the Fourmile Creek, Gold Run, and Fourmile Canyon Creek drainages and
will also affect areas along Sunshine Drive. Rock slides or debris
flows can also be expected across roads in the burn area.

of landspout tornadoes in and close to DIA. However, at this time it
is unknown which if any storm would produce a landspout. Any
landspouts which develop are expected to pose a limited threat.

Eastern Denver International Airport.
Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm before
rain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are not
usually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult to
detect with weather radar.
