At 559 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cameron Pass, or 41 miles west of Fort Collins, moving east at 20
mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm. The
storm may also produce up to a quarter of an inch of rain as it
passes over the south portion of the Cameron Peak Fire.
Locations impacted include...
Estes Park, Trail Ridge, Bear Lake, Cameron Pass and Pingree Park.

Akron, moving northeast at 10 mph. Additional storms were located
over the southeast corner of Morgan County and over southeast Logan
County. These storms were also moving northeast at 10 mph.
One-half inch to penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will
be possible with these storms. Brief heavy rain and dangerous

thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 0.25

the Cameron Peak Burn Scar in Western Larimer County
One area that could see more significant impacts would be the more
severely burned areas of the Laramie River Corridor.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from this storm will cause minor flooding of creeks
and streams, roads, and roadside culverts. The heavy rains could
also trigger rock slides or debris flows in the Cameron Peak burn
area.
