At 655 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles southeast of Genoa to 6 miles south of
Simla, or along a line extending from 13 miles east of Limon to 41
miles east of Colorado Springs. Movement was south at 35 mph.
Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Hugo, Genoa, Boyero, Karval, Punkin Center, Kutch and Forder.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
east central Colorado.
