* At 116 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles north of Antelope Springs to 7 miles north
of Cottonwood Valley, or along a line extending from 18 miles north
of Fort Morgan to 33 miles north of Limon, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Hail damage to
vehicles is expected.

At 1101 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles east of Lyons to near Rocky Flats, or
along a line extending from 22 miles south of Fort Collins to 19
miles northwest of Denver. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Western Thornton, northern Arvada, Westminster, Boulder, Longmont,
Broomfield, Northglenn, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Superior,
Federal Heights, Firestone, Frederick, Berthoud, Dacono, Mead, Lyons,

a line extending from 3 miles west of Pinewood Springs to 3 miles
east of Pinecliffe, or along a line extending from 27 miles southwest
of Fort Collins to 26 miles northwest of Denver. Movement was east at
10 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Northwestern Arvada, western Westminster, Boulder, southwestern

Continental Divide. Lower amounts expected west of the Divide.
* WHERE...Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow Range,
and The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and the
Indian Peaks.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to Midnight MDT Monday Night.
* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel may
become very difficult due to heavy snowfall on roadways.
