* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado including the towns of
Fort Morgan, Sterling, and Julesburg.
* WHEN...From Midnight tonight to 6 PM MDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
could be difficult.

...AREAS OF HEAVY SNOW ON THE NORTHEAST PLAINS...
.An area of snow will move across northeastern Colorado today, with
the snow lingering into tonight in the northeast corner. The
heaviest snow this morning will move from Weld county across Morgan
county. For this afternoon and evening, it will shift to Sterling
and Akron and areas further east and northeast. The snow will be
heavy at times and will produce snow covered roads and limited
visibilities. In areas west of Sterling and Akron, conditions should
improve this afternoon. Further east there may be some help with
highways from warm temperatures this afternoon, but icy and snow
covered roads will be likely this evening.

* WHAT...Snow ongoing. Snow accumulations 2 to 4 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Briggsdale, Greeley, and Fort Morgan.
* WHEN...The heaviest snow will be this morning, with snow ending
this afternoon. Winds will increase by midday causing minor
drifting of the snow.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and areas of poor
visibility in the heavier showers.

MDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Sterling, Akron, Julesburg, and Holyoke.
* WHEN...Snow will move in from west to east this morning, with the
heaviest snow in the afternoon and early evening. Winds will also
be increasing during the day. The snow will diminish from the west
this evening but accumulating snow and minor drifting may occur
most of the night around Julesburg and Holyoke.
* IMPACTS...Snow covered roads will make travel hazardous.
Visibility will be limited in areas of heavy snow.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Consider avoiding travel
during the period of heaviest snow this afternoon and evening,
