* Until 815 PM MDT.
* At 656 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding
across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

mainly rural areas of North Central Grand County
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Buffalo Creek, Cabin Creek, East Fork Troublesome Creek, Middle
Fork Creek, Ethel Creek, Trout Creek, North Fork Cabin Creek,
Trail Creek, East Branch Willow Creek, Willow Creek, Wheatley
Creek and Corral Creek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Continued Flash flooding of small creeks, streams, and ditches in
the northwest portions of the East Troublesome burn area including
areas along Highway 125. Rock slides or debris flows can also be
expected across rural roads.
