Central Grand County in north central Colorado...
* Until 615 PM MDT.
* At 424 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Central Grand County
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Smith Creek, North Fork Cabin Creek, East Fork Troublesome Creek,
Wheatley Creek, Colorado River, Drowsy Water Creek, Kinney Creek
and Corral Creek.

Heavy Rainfall will cause flash flooding of small creeks, streams,
