WASHINGTON AND CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM MDT...
At 503 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Cottonwood Valley to
Punkin Center, or along a line extending from 21 miles north of Limon
to 60 miles east of Colorado Springs. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Limon, Hugo, Genoa and Punkin Center.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
