.Abnormally warm and dry conditions over the last several days
will combine with increasing southerly winds over the plains on
Friday for critical fire weather conditions.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 5 PM MST FRIDAY FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE PALMER DIVIDE EAST INTO
LINCOLN COUNTY AND INTO WASHINGTON COUNTY...
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM to 5 PM MST Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 241, 246, 247 and 249.
* Timing...Humidity will be decreasing by 11 AM with increasing
southerly winds. Humidity should recover by 5 PM due to early
sunset with winds taking slightly longer to decrease.
* Winds...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to around 30 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 11 percent.
* Impacts...Ongoing drought conditions combined with strong
winds and low relative humidity mean conditions may be prime
for rapid fire growth.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
