* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Colorado, including the
following county, Grand.
* WHEN...Until 945 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 636 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to
0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Kinney Creek, Soda Creek, Willow Creek, Onahu Creek, Middle
Fork Creek, Monument Creek, Ethel Creek, Corral Creek,
Buffalo Creek, Trail Creek, Wheatley Creek, Round Creek, East
Branch Willow Creek, Gold Run, Drowsy Water Creek, East Fork
Troublesome Creek, Trout Creek, Troublesome Creek, North Fork
Cabin Creek and Cabin Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks, streams,
and ditches in the East Troublesome burn area. The heavy rains could
also trigger rock slides or debris flows.
