...SNOW, SLICK AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL, AND MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES
THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
.A slow moving storm system will keep snow falling through
Wednesday. Early Wednesday evening, the snow had been heaviest south
of the Denver metro area but was increasing further north in areas
along and west of Interstate 25. Snowfall will continue in these
areas and will be heavy at times overnight. The snow will also
continue to expand eastward across the plains. Light snow will
continue through the day Wednesday and into Wednesday evening.
Significant snow may last longer along the base of the foothills.
The snow will come to an end Wednesday night, but temperatures will
be very cold Thursday morning.

* WHERE...Castle Rock.
* WHEN...Snow will be heavy at times overnight, then lighter snow
will continue through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Snow covered roads will make travel hazardous. Travel
may become very difficult to impossible due to heavy snowfall on
roadways. Conditions will be worst overnight and Wednesday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Consider delaying travel until conditions improve later Wednesday.
