Strong, damaging winds possible for northeast Colorado this evening - UPDATE
by David Barjenbruch - NOAA Federal
NWS Boulder Partners,
*Strong winds may produce wind damage and power outages across northeast
Colorado this evening!*
We are increasingly concerned about potential wind damage 9 pm - Midnight
across the northeast plains of Colorado. Peak wind gusts of 60-70 mph are
likely to be widespread, with a few gusts around 75 mph possible. There
have been wind gusts > 80 mph in southeast Wyoming with this front. The
highest winds will be east of a line from Fort Collins to Denver
International Airport.
Winds should decrease a little after the initial blast that lasts an hour
or two.
Please call NWS Boulder at 303-494-4479 if you have questions
