If you are supporting public safety efforts for your community's
Independence Day activities you are welcome to join.
This is part of Boulder's approach to provide support to the many
Independence Day events across the area. Because of the large number of
events and our limited staffing, we will have the following operational
plan in place to support you:
- We will have an extra staff member on duty to provide event support
from 2 pm to 10 pm.
- A briefing for the Independence Day holiday weekend will be emailed by
8 am each day from Friday, July 2 through Sunday July, 4. The briefing
package will also be posted to our main webpage at www.weather.gov/bou.
- We will hold a planning briefing conference call for core partners at
9 am Sunday July 4.
- From 5 pm to 10 pm on July 4 we will have a webinar running
continually, with a radar update & discussion at the top and bottom of the
hour. If you have questions you can hop on the webinar at any time, or call
our office.
Have a safe and fun 4th of July holiday!
