Hello emergency managers & others, I wanted to bring your attention to the
high wind watch in effect for tonight into Saturday, and winter weather
advisory in the mountains tonight and Saturday. Main concerns will be for
those outdoor COVID testing centers, popup tents and lightweight materials
that might be blown around.
The High Wind Watch is in effect from this evening through Saturday
evening, with gusts near 80 in the foothills & South Park, and 60 mph east
of I-25. The winter weather advisory is in effect for the northern
mountains, 4-12" with wind gusts near 60 mph and blowing snow. Graphics are
available here:

Ordinarily we wouldn't do an email for an event of this magnitude, but
there are a lot of COVID test sites that are probably not hardened against
this type of weather.
Best Regards,
Greg
