F2P2 services ending tomorrow
by Kevin Stewart
Tomorrow, September 30, concludes our Flash Flood Prediction Program (F2P2) forecast and notification services for 2020 provided by Skyview Weather.
Emergency managers are encouraged to forward this email to your respective jurisdiction contacts including 911 communications.
Please keep in mind that the end of MHFD meteorological services does not mean that flash floods are no longer possible. While the potential will be decreasing from now on, it still exists, and your continued vigilance is recommended.
As always, we welcome your comments concerning this long-running program that is ending its 42nd consecutive year.
Thank you all for your continuing support.
Kevin Stewart, P.E.
