Greetings F2P2 Partners.
With many of us enjoying the current weather patterns, we want to remind you that today we
begin our final 2 weeks of flash flood prediction services for the 2019 flood season. This
will conclude our 41st consecutive year of providing these services to the 7-county
region. Your feedback on this program is always welcome and now may be a good time to
consider your thoughts about 2019.
If you documented any significant floods or rainstorms this past year, we would appreciate
receiving any notes, photographs or videos that you may have. By simply replying to this
email, we will make a special effort to follow-up with you at a later date.
You may be interested to know that one of the largest storm/flood events this year
occurred in September. We are in the process of documenting what happened on that Friday
afternoon and early evening (Sept. 6) in Centennial and other locations. Any information
you have concerning this day would be helpful. We used to think big events in September
are unusual for this region. Remembering 2013...that opinion may have to change.
Thank you for all that you have done to help make our long-running program successful. We
look forward to hearing from you.
Kevin Stewart, P.E.
