At 731 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Boyero to 5 miles
southeast of Karval to 5 miles west of Wild Horse Point, or along a
line extending from 30 miles southeast of Limon to 61 miles northwest
of Lamar to 42 miles north of La Junta. Movement was east at 25 mph.
Torrential rain, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch diameter
hail will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Karval, Wild Horse Point, Forder and Punkin Center.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

extending from 5 miles north of Kutch to 7 miles east of Rush, or
along a line extending from 23 miles southwest of Limon to 46 miles
east of Colorado Springs, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
