At 846 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles north of Hoyt, or 18 miles southwest of Fort Morgan, moving
east at 15 mph.
Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Morgan
County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead

Agate, or 13 miles northwest of Limon, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected. Hail may accumulate on
roadways causing hazardous travel.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Elbert and north central Lincoln Counties, east of
Interstate 70 and north of Limon.

* At 704 PM MDT, A thunderstorm producing heavy rain was located 10
miles west of Leader, or 35 miles southwest of Fort Morgan, moving
northeast at 20 mph. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central Adams
County. The heaviest rain has been between 80th and 120th Avenues
and between highway 79 and Strasburg Road.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
