Central Grand County in north central Colorado...
* Until 115 PM MDT.
* At 1153 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the
southeast portion of the East Troublesome burn area.
* Rainfall up to one quarter inch can be expected in 15 minutes.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hot Sulphur Springs.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks, streams,
and ditches in the East Troublesome burn area. Some areas affected
include the Willow Creek valley along Highway 125. The heavy rains
could also trigger rock slides or debris flows.

Bennett Creek, Little Beaver Creek, Manhattan Creek, Dry Creek,
Poudre Pass Creek, Roaring River, Mummy Pass Creek, and Fall Creek.

Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of creeks and streams,
roads and roadside culverts in the affected part of the Cameron Peak

heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in less
than an hour, and an additional half inch of rain is possible..
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Southwestern Denver, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, southwestern
Broomfield, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Morrison, Red Rocks Park,
Idledale, Indian Hills, Tiny Town, Rocky Flats, Edgewater,

Deckers, or 33 miles southwest of Denver, moving northwest at 10 mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel.
Locations impacted include...
Buffalo Creek, Wellington Lake, Conifer, Pine Grove, Sprucewood,
South Platte, Cheesman Reservoir, Deckers, Pine Junction, Bailey and
Aspen Park.

Arvada, or 12 miles northwest of Denver, moving west at 10 mph. A
second storm was located just west of Lakewood, moving west at 10
mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous
travel.
Locations impacted include...
Lakewood, Arvada, southwestern Westminster, Wheat Ridge, Golden,
