At 316 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Twin Buttes to 4 miles
northeast of Highland Center, or along a line extending from 12 miles
southwest of Chappell to 12 miles west of Holyoke. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Holyoke, Julesburg, Haxtun, Ovid, Sedgwick, The Sedgwick County
Fair, Paoli, Pleasant Valley, Amherst, Highland Center, Twin Buttes,
Fairfield and Sixteen-Mile Corner.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

rainfall, up to one half inch in 30 minutes, will be possible with
this storm.

Haxtun, Fleming, Sedgwick, Crook, St Petersburg, Proctor, Twin
