Elbert County Below 6000 Feet/North Lincoln County. In northeast
Colorado, Boulder And Jefferson Counties Below 6000 Feet/West
Broomfield County, Central and East Adams and Arapahoe Counties,
Central and South Weld County, Elbert/Central and East Douglas
Counties Above 6000 Feet, Morgan County, North Douglas County
Below 6000 Feet/Denver/West Adams and Arapahoe Counties/East

* WHEN...Through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of strong to severe storms are expected again
this afternoon and evening. Some of these storms will produce
very heavy rain and the potential for flash flooding. In
addition, many areas received considerable rainfall last
night, where from 1 to over 3 inches of rain had fallen.
Soils are already saturated and won't take much additional
rainfall to create problems. Creeks and streams are already
running high as well.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by last nights excessive
rainfall is expected to continue.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
counties, Morgan and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 717 AM MDT, local law enforcement relayed flooding in
the advisory area due to thunderstorms last night. This will
cause small stream flooding. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen overnight. Highway 63 between Anton and Akron
remains closed along with Highway 34 between Akron and Otis.
Many other county roads may also be impassable.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Akron, Otis, Elba, Anton, Lindon, Platner, Midway, Woodlin
School, Arickaree School, Woodrow, Gary, Last Chance, Fremont
Butte and Hyde.
