At 1024 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Devil's Head, or 34 miles south of Denver, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Nickel size hail, brief moderate to heavy rainfall, up to
one half inch possible in 30 minutes.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Castle Rock, Larkspur, Westcreek, Perry Park, Devil's Head,
Sprucewood, Cheesman Reservoir, Deckers, Franktown and Greenland.

Pass and Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir, or 44 miles west of Colorado

occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
counties, Adams, Morgan and Weld.
* WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks and streams, and other low lying
areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 910 AM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding in
the advisory area. This includes Antelope Creek south of
Wiggins, and along Highway 52 south of Prospect Valley. Many
other creeks and streams are also running high and may be
flooding.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
East Lost Creek, Rock Creek, Bijou Creek, Badger Creek,
Antelope Creek, Beaver Creek, Running Creek, West Fork San
Arroyo Creek, Mule Creek, Little Antelope Creek, Muddy Creek,
Sherman Ranch Slough, West Sand Creek, Lost Creek, East Bijou
Creek, West Bijou Creek, Comanche Creek, East Fork Little
Muddy Creek, Horse Creek, Jack Rabbit Creek, Wolf Creek,

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
counties, Eastern Adams, southwestern Morgan and southeastern Weld.
* WHEN...Until 800 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 226 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated another round of
heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving across eastern Adams
county into southwestern Morgan county. This will cause
continued or renewed small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4
inches of rain fell in this area Thursday afternoon and
evening.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northeastern Aurora, Bennett, Wiggins, Hoyt, Leader, Prospect
Valley, Roggen, Strasburg, Adena, Manila Village, Twelve-Mile
Corner, Watkins and Hoyt Beet Dump.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Rustic and Red Feather Lakes.

Gulches along Highway 14 near and above Rustic, Rising water
