At 933 AM MDT, the public reported a funnel cloud near Wilkerson
Pass and Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir, or 44 miles west of Colorado
Springs, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Funnel cloud or brief landspouts possible.
SOURCE...Public.
IMPACT...Brief weak tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
If a tornado is spotted seek shelter inside a sturdy building.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM MDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northeast Colorado, including the
following counties, in central Colorado, Clear Creek and Park. In
northeast Colorado, Jefferson.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1250 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bergen Creek, Cub Creek, Troublesome Creek, South Platte
River, Blue Creek, Wisp Creek, Vance Creek, Mount Vernon
Creek, Maxwell Creek, Elk Creek, North Turkey Creek, Turkey
Creek, Last Resort Creek, North Elk Creek, Indian Creek,
Dutch Creek, North Fork South Platte River, North Fork Deer

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
creeks and streams, roads and roadside culverts. The heavy rains
could also trigger rock slides or debris flows in steep terrain.

* At 746 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near White Ranch Open Space to 4 miles northwest of
Grant, or along a line extending from 19 miles west of Denver to 68
miles northwest of Colorado Springs, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

County through 245 PM MDT...
At 153 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wilkerson Pass, or 45 miles west of Colorado Springs, moving north at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. Heavy rain
and minor flooding is also possible with this storm.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Wilkerson Pass and Tarryall Reservoir.
