This webinar was broadcast live yesterday, January 27, 2021. It covers a wide range of activities (including FEMA's CRS) recommended for developing and sustaining effective local flood warning programs.
NHWC may break this 90 minute video into segments, but the timeframe for this is unknown. For anyone involved with community flood warning and response, I highly recommend watching the entire webinar. If you do, I would appreciate receiving any comments or questions you may have.
Upcoming training opportunities are discussed near the end of the webinar that you may want to take advantage of, one of those being the biennial NHWC training conference and exposition planned for June 21-24, 2021 in Breckenridge<https://www.hydrologicwarning.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=617218&...>. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the COVID situation will allow this popular event to happen, as many practitioners from around the U.S. are itching to get away from their home offices.
Please feel free to share this email with colleagues who may have an interest.
