HOT, HAZY AND DRY WITH WINDS PICKING UP THIS AFTERNOON
High-pressure starts to build back into the region today from the
east. This will keep high temperatures well into the 90s. Winds will
pick up into the afternoon from the south with gusts up to 35mph,
favoring eastern portions of the District. Mostly sunny, with hazy
skies today. No precipitation is expected today. Overnight will be
breezy and dry with lows dropping into the 60s on the plains with
upper 50s in the foothills.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipiation is expected
today or this evening.
A LOOK AHEAD: Conditions stay dry Sunday as high temperatures remain
well in the 90s with breezy winds under mostly sunny skies. Similar
conditions remain in place Tuesday, breezy and dry as high
temperatures continue to reach into the 90s.
