DRY WITH SEASONALTEMPERATURES

Although there will be more sunshine today compared to yesterday
over the District temperatures will a little cooler today behind a
cold front that moved through overnight. Highs will reach the mid 70's
over the plains with 60's in the Front Range foothills. Normal high
for Denver today is 76 degrees.

Conditions will be dry over the District with any shower or weak
thunderstorm activity this afternoon confined to the crest of the
Palmer Divide and far S foothills of Jefferson County.

Dry conditions continue overnight with temperatures falling into the
upper 40's over the plains into Friday morning with some 30's in the
foothills.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No precipitation expected today
and tonight.
A LOOK AHEAD: There will be a chance for isolated afternoon
thunderstorms on Friday favoring the W and S areas of the District.
Storms that develop will only produce light to briefly moderate rain.
Temperatures will warm into the lower 80's over the plains.
Thunderstorm chances increase significantly over the weekend... On
Saturday thunderstorms will become scattered to numerous during the
afternoon continuing likely into the evening. On Sunday widely
scattered rain showers are possible through the day along with
isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. The thunderstorms that
develop Saturday and Sunday will have the potential to produce heavy
rain that may result in excessive runoff. Greatest potential for
severe weather is Saturday with hail and gusty winds being the primary
threats.
