Showers and thunderstorms will generally propagate from W to E at 10-15mph. - Strong thunderstorms are less likely now that temperatures have cooled into the 70's but even moderate storms will be capable of producing brief heavy rainfall. STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Rain showers will produce a trace to 0.2" in 10-30 minutes. Weak to moderate thunderstorms will produce rainfall rates of 0.3-0.9" in 10-30 minutes.
