High temperatures will be in the mid 80s, with dewpoints in the low 40s and precipitable water (PWAT) values around 0.45”. STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Precipitation is not expected in the District today. A LOOK AHEAD: Warmer temperatures and mostly sunny skies are expected tomorrow with afternoon highs reaching the upper 80s to low 90s. There is a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms as an upper-level disturbance traverses the Plains. Any precipitation activity is expected to be light with a few rumbles of thunder possible.
