As this feature passes southward it will act as a trigger for additional thunderstorm development with thunderstorms currently in the Boulder/Broomfield and W Adams County area. New thunderstorms will likely develop southward as the afternoon progresses. - Typical thunderstorms will produce moderate to brief heavy rainfall with stronger storms cells capable of producing brief heavy rainfall that may lead to excessive runoff. STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: Weak thunderstorms will produce 0.1-0.4" in 10-30 minutes.
