-------------------------
MESSAGE 1'S WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 9:00 PM
-
Message 1's will be allowed to expire at 9:00 PM as the threat for
heavy rainfall has come to and end.
-
Shower and thunderstorm activity has moved out of the District and
onto the eastern plains with generally dry conditions expected for the
remainder of the evening and overnight period.
-
Excess moisture currently at the surface after isolated heavy
rainfall this afternoon and early evening will likely keep a low
chance tomorrow for moderate to heavy rainfall, favoring areas east of
I-25 at this time. The chance and intensity of storm activity will
depend on how quick the low-level moisture will mix out through the
morning hours as high temperatures are expected to reach the low to
mid 90's in the afternoon.
STORM RAINFALL POTENTIAL AND DURATION: No meaningful additional
precipitation is expected, less than 0.1" from any lingering light
shower activity.
