...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central
Larimer County through 345 PM MDT...
At 308 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles west of Glen Haven, or 26 miles west of Fort Collins, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Estes Park, Glen Haven, and Drake.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

County through 500 PM MDT...
At 417 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Four Corners, or 26 miles southwest of Laramie, moving
southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, nickel size hail and brief heavy
rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Four Corners.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Colorado, including the
following county, Grand.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 509 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
0.2 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Central Grand County. along the western
boundary of the East Troublesome burn scar, northwest of Hot
Sulphur Springs.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks, streams,
and ditches in the East Troublesome burn area. The heavy rains could
also trigger rock slides or debris flows.
