...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
possible.
* WHERE...South-central portions of the East Troublesome burn scar
in Grand County, Colorado. This includes CO-125 between mile
marker 13 and Highway 40.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 536 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Areas within the East Troublesome burn scar.
- This includes the following additional locations...
Middle Willow Creek Valley, Lower Willow Creek Valley and
Drowsy Water Ranch.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Heavy Rainfall will cause minor flooding of small creeks, streams,
and ditches in the East Troublesome burn area. The heavy rains could
also trigger rock slides or debris flows.

western Larimer Counties through 400 PM MDT...
At 320 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers producing wind
gusts to 55 mph along a line extending from 7 miles west of Tie
Siding to 6 miles southeast of Rand, or along a line extending from
18 miles south of Laramie to 76 miles northwest of Denver. Movement
was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Trail Ridge, Kinikinik, Chambers Lake, Rand, Cameron Pass, Four
Corners, Red Feather Lakes, Gould, Rustic, Cherokee Park, and
Glendevey.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Persons in campgrounds and near lakes should consider seeking sturdy
shelter until these storms pass.

producing wind gusts up to 55 mph along a line extending from 8
miles south of Hutton Lake to 13 miles north of Parshall, or along a
line extending from 20 miles southwest of Laramie to 70 miles east
of Craig. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
