At 1035 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a band of heavy snow
across southern portions of Douglas and Elbert counties. Snowfall
rates up to 2 inches per hour will accompany this band of snow as it
continues to move southeast. Roads will quickly become icy and
snowpacked as this band of snow moves across with hazardous driving
conditions. In addition visibility will be reduced in blowing snow.
