...Strong gusty outflow winds ahead of weak showers will impact
portions of central Elbert County through 700 PM MDT...
At 608 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong,
gusty winds, along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Deer
Trail to 8 miles southeast of Kiowa to 6 miles northwest of Elbert,
or along a line extending from 31 miles northwest of Limon to 28
miles north of Colorado Springs. Movement was south at 0 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Elbert and Simla.

Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
