...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northeastern Douglas,
Elbert, Arapahoe and southwestern Lincoln Counties through 645 PM
MDT...
At 605 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Castle Rock to 4 miles northeast of Peyton to 3
miles northwest of Truckton, or along a line extending from 25 miles
south of Denver to 23 miles northeast of Colorado Springs to 20
miles east of Colorado Springs. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. The Colorado
Springs airport reported a wind gust to 58 mph with these
storms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Aurora, eastern Centennial, Castle Rock, Parker, Elbert, Bennett,
Elizabeth, Kiowa, Simla, Deer Trail, The Pinery, Matheson, Agate,
Arapahoe Park, Franktown, Strasburg, Ponderosa Park, Byers, Castle
Pines, and Kutch.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
