...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING THROUGH 6 AM
TOMORROW MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Most of the plains south of the South Platte River,
including the Palmer Divide, eastern Adams and Arapahoe Counties,
and Washington and Lincoln Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 PM MDT this evening through 6 AM tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall of already saturated soils may cause excessive
runoff across the warning area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
