* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
* Until 815 PM MDT.
* At 745 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast
of Karval, or 34 miles southeast of Limon, moving east at 20 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR AREAS NORTHEAST OF KARVAL TO
BOYERO.
HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Lincoln County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for east central
Colorado.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
