...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Elbert
County through 945 PM MDT...
At 915 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Deer Trail, or 29 miles northwest of Limon, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Agate.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
east central Colorado.
