South central Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
* Until 1000 PM MDT.
* At 927 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Punkin Center, or 34 miles south of Limon, moving southeast at 20
mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR AREAS BETWEEN FORDER AND PUNKIN
CENTER.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for east central
Colorado.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
